Summer SceneWorks, hosted by the Auburn Area Community Theatre, in conjunction with the Auburn Arts Association, seeks to give members of the community a chance to perform scenes in a low-stress, high-fun situation! Each scene, which will be about ten minutes in length, will be directed by volunteers from the community, and will meet to rehearse on a schedule determined by the availability of the actors and director. Therefore, anyone interested is sure to be able to participate! In addition, every Monday, we will have guest speakers and lessons on the various aspects of theatre, such as auditioning, acting methods, vocal, improv, and directing!
The cost to participate is just $10, and is used to help support our guest speakers and organization. The event is entirely volunteer-run, but is sure to be a great deal of fun this summer!
Those interested should contact Richard Davis at [email protected] or Andrea Holliday at [email protected]. Please also feel free to visit the facebook page at the link above, or use the tabs to search the other areas of our site!
